@AryamanA: This looks great! BTW is there a way to block off the plus sign when it's not necessary? Like here it says "... was replaced by + Middle Indo-Aryan". I believe this won't be the only entry where we'll use the template {{inc-ext}} in a sentence so overriding the + sign would be useful.
