@DerekWinters In case you hadn't figured it out, apparently some sounds are dropped to conform to meter. Braj and Awadhi are really lax on spelling, unfortunately. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 01:12, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

@AryamanA I know, taking from metrical sources is always tough. But I'm trying to stay faithful to the original. Also, I'm not entirely sure the state of modern Awadhi, but I would think I could tag this, and others like चारि as {{lb|awa|Ol Awadhi}}, but that can wait for later. @DerekWinters: Yeah, unfortunately the literature on modern Awadhi is pretty scant (the only really good source is [1], from 1971!), and anything newer is not in English, but I suppose since none of us know Awadhi natively there's nothing we can do about it yet. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 03:38, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Also "Ol Awadhi" sounds neat, lol. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 03:39, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
