@Benwing2 No, adjectives never have the feminine plural nasalized ending. The participle adjective of the verb रूठना (rūṭhnā) is actually रूठा हुआ/रूठे हुए/रूठी हुई/रूठी हुईं (rūṭhā huā/rūṭhe hue/rūṭhī huī/rūṭhī huī̃). And on top of that, in the conjugations that have an auxiliary verb attached (हुआ/हुए etc. here), only the auxiliaries are nasalized in the feminine plural not the verb itself; this is a strange quirk of Hindi. —Aryaman^{A (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान)} 03:59, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

@AryamanA OK, I am confused. The table for the verb रूठना shows रूठीं in two places, the perfective adjectival form feminine plural and the simple perfective feminine plural. Are these incorrect? Under what circumstances is a form like रूठीं used? Benwing2 (talk) 04:09, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

@Benwing2: It's not incorrect, these only appear when the verb is alone with no auxiliaries: औरतें रूठीं। ― aurtẽ rūṭhī̃. ― The women became displeased. —Aryaman^{A (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान)} 04:13, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
