@Angr, Wyang Hi. Does the term mean "Czech Republic" without နိုင်ငံ‎ or only "Czech president"? I think this can mean "Czech Republic", for example [1]:

@Wyang: I know this is over a year late, but is there really such a word as နိုင်ငံထောက်ခံ (nuingngamhtaukhkam)? According to SEAlang, ထောက်ခံ (htaukhkam) is just a verb meaning "support". Hmm, I agree, I don't think နိုင်ငံထောက်ခံ is one word and I think it may be a typo for ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ. Wyang (talk) 11:16, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ = "Czech Republic," ချက်သမ္မတ = Czech President, သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ = republic (country). နိုင်ငံထောက်ခံ is not a single word. Mahagaja is correct - ထောက်ခံ = support (verb); နိုင်ငံ = country (noun) (the headline refers to the Czech Republic supporting a human rights investigation in Burma). So if ချက်သမ္မတ really only means "Czech president", it's SOP and needn't have an entry, right? The only reason for keeping it would be if it metaphorically also meant "Czech Republic", but apparently it doesn't. —Mahāgaja (formerly Angr) · talk 07:36, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
