Speedied, FWIW I tried to look up the definition Xie meaning a river in China, and couldn't find one on Wikipedia. w:zh:㳦 doesn't exist either (was gonna look for an English interwiki and take it from there) at which point I speedied the entry. Mglovesfun (talk) 23:10, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

"a river"[edit]

Which doesn't seem to exist at all in English or Chinese. There are results, but they all seem to just be dictionaries. Am I correct in thinking that this must be some ancient name recorded in the rhyming dictionaries and that we're unsure about just what modern river it refers to (or whether it's since disappeared)? Or is it equivalent to Hunan's Shimen County's 渫水 or one of the modern Xie rivers in China? — LlywelynII 19:46, 14 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
