Idu variant[edit]

@Tibidibi, what chance that the Idu variant 不喻 was fully logographic? Just from the Middle Chinese pronunciation of as /jɨoH/, I don't see how this would work as a phonogram for either -koy or -ti, but the semantics of "like, similar" seem to fit. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 19:17, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

"KSX" and vs. variant form [edit]

@Suzukaze-c, what does "KSX" mean, as you added in your edit comment? And isn't the variant (i.e. non-standard) form? ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 22:01, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Eirikr: CJK_Unified_Ideographs#Sources; https://zi.tools/zi/喻 does not have a Korean "source" in Unicode and Korean font support is not expected; on the other hand, https://zi.tools/zi/喩 is so (K0-6A67): K0 (KS X 1001) 6A67. —Suzukaze-c (talk) 22:04, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
