@Wyang Is 拉海 one word in Wu? If 拉 = 在, what is 海, apart from "sea"? It seems they are used together a lot. Is "伐了海，伊还么回来" a standard Wu spelling - could you translate each part? (I know the meaning of the full sentence) --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 02:34, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
- It is one word. Most of the words that represent Wu-specific vocabulary are using the characters just for sounds. 拉海 or 辣海 means "to be there; inside; to be ...ing". I would write that sentence as "勿(不)辣海(在(那里))，伊(他)还(还)呒没(没)回来。" Wyang (talk) 02:46, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
