@Tooironic: Hi. Excuse me, Carl but I think it's silly listing all possible republics under "derived terms". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 15:02, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Why? ---> Tooironic (talk) 15:05, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Tooironic: These are obviously compound words, not derivations. To demonstrate a word usage one single usage example would be sufficient. Examples of derivations from "republic" are "republican", "republicanism" but not "People's Republic of China". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 02:00, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'm afraid that would make things very complicated. There are thousands of entries that list what you refer to as compound words in Derived terms sections. Who do you think could take on such a task? (For the record, I think it's useful to have both derived terms and compound words in lemma entries.) ---> Tooironic (talk) 02:05, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
No need to go through all. I only fix I come across and I don't see this so heavily used. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 02:16, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
