regarding the Japanese readings, I AM familiar with "picture" (as in, painting) being pronounced "え", but I'm strongly questioning if that is the same kanji as 図. My IME conversion doesn't list え=図 at all. I'm wondering if the person who put it here isn't thinking of 絵 or 画. Both DO seem to mean (among other things, something along the lines of) "picture" with pronunciations of "え".
