Note: When changing "the sixth branch" to "the sixth sign of the Chinese zodiac" (the former being a tad more obscure than the latter!), removed the meaning of certain hours of the day, as each of the signs has these (the day is divided using the signs) and none of the other entries mention them. The signs are also used to denote other things besides the hours, and such usage is not common except in astrological contexts anyway (when the signs are presumed to be known).
