Etymology[edit]

My Google results give an etymology of water weakening a bow, but just as a bald assertion, and I can't find any reliable looking source to back that up. Anyone have an RS for this? 50.96.15.214 12:55, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Never mind perhaps. The etymology at jp:弱 is the one I've put on the page. 50.96.15.214 13:08, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Show me evidence that there were originally 氵s on the 弓s instead of 冫s, and I'll take your word for it. Johnny Shiz (talk) 00:07, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

About the etymology...[edit]

If a bow () that is decorated () is weak, then how come there are two weak bows in the character? Do some research please.
