Traditional version[edit]

Can the traditional version be explained? It doesn't seem to be widely used in traditional Chinese, so it's very confusing. How/when is the traditional version used? 24.93.170.200 08:35, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(traditional) has a root meaning of "to write" or "to record." It is used in compounds such as:
(simplified and traditional) has a root meaning of "aspiration" or "ambition." It is used in such compounds as:
