Oddities surrounding the variants of 历 in 现代汉语词典[edit]
On page 810 of 现代汉语规范词典第3版, 厯 seems to be listed as a variant character of 曆 (if I am interpreting the 凡例 of XDHYGFCD correctly). This would contradict 通用规范汉字表 and 辞海6 p1532, where 厯 is the variant of 歷. The reason I bring up this oddity is because 现代汉语词典第7版 (and 现代汉语词典试用本1977 p621, where 歷 seems to be considered to be interchangeable with 曆 in some instances) omits mentioning both 歴 and 厯, which seems strange too. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 11:07, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
