@Justinrleung: Could it just be a case of a loan word that dropped the first syllable? You see that in languages. For instance, Latin Hispania became Spagna in Italian. The dog2 (talk) 18:23, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

- @Justinrleung: OK, remove it then if you think it's questionable. But I think the Burmese word is probably right. When I went to Myanmar, I definitely noticed how close the Burmese word sounded very similar to the Hokkien word. The dog2 (talk) 21:58, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
