I'd liken this to "modern services" in English, which is sometimes used to describe IT, telecommunications, and other services (or aspects of services) that are fundamentally reliant on them, such as modern finance, banking, etc. It wouldn't include traditional services that happen to exist in the modern-day, such as family-run shops or tradeswork.
