Chinese. Rfv-sense: "(Hong Kong, neologism, euphemistic) to participate in a protest activity, especially an illegal activity". Mahogany115 removed this sense, with the edit summary "WT:ATTEST removed because not popular for more than 1 year". 70.172.194.25 08:39, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Appears to have mostly dropped out of use since the protests have died down in mid-2020, as far as materials directly available on Google is concerned. However, it is used still used sparingly in relatively recent online news publications such as [1] (whether this counts towards attestation is another question).
Either way, it is very likely that it was published in the now-defunct Apple Daily (a printed newspaper), though I am bothered to check the archives. – Wpi31 (talk) 09:46, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Wpi31: It would be helpful if you can find stuff from the Apple Daily archives. Otherwise, we would have to RFV fail this. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 17:08, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Cited, see Citations:發夢. If it's not enough, I think we could also quote some protest-related documentary(-ish) films that would likely be produced in late 2020 or 2021. – Wpi31 (talk) 18:40, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Wpi31: Thanks! I've added two quotes from Ta Kung Pao just to make sure we have independent attestations (since before that we only had attestations from Apple Daily and Ming Pao). The time span should be good (more than one year now). — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 21:06, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I was trying to find some from Ta Kung Pao/Wen Wei Po (since I knew they probably also used the word), but I couldn't find any. – Wpi31 (talk) 02:40, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
