huáng'āma

[edit]

@The dog2 Are you sure about this auto-generated pronunciation? The traditional pronunciation of 阿瑪 seems to be àma instead of āma. Also I'M pretty sure I've been hearing huáng'àma, although I don't watch historical dramas often. RcAlex36 (talk) 10:50, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@RcAlex36: Oh sorry, I didn't pay attention to it. No, I'm not sure if the auto-generated pronunciation. But I recall having also heard huáng'āmā in historical dramas. The dog2 (talk) 13:21, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@The dog2: Would be nice if you can provide some links to huáng'āma (I assume you meant this, not huáng'āmā). @Bula Hailan, is it huáng'āma or huáng'àma in historical dramas? RcAlex36 (talk) 13:23, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: I haven’t watched historical dramas for so long that I can’t recall how it was pronounced. But I vaguely remember that it’s something like huáng’àma (compare 阿哥 àge). Bula Hailan (talk) 14:14, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Those were shows I watched a long time ago, before there was YouTube, so unfortunately, I don't have clips. Go ahead and remove the auto-generated. It was after all an auto-generated one. The dog2 (talk) 15:08, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
