No, I'm not, that's why I didn't understand the example sentence. I was going to ask you if dialectal words (e.g. Wu) should be also given Mandarin, Cantonese, etc. readings. My Pleco dictionary has some definitely dialectal Wu words and expressions, marked "dialectal" or "Shanghainese", etc. E.g. 呒没, 闹猛.

A reading shouldn't be present if it is not used, otherwise it would categorise the entry into Category:Mandarin/Cantonese nouns. The Shanghainese reading is 1tshaan kheu deu.
