Suzhou[edit]

@Fluoromethyl Is the word used only in Suzhou? If so, the Shanghainese pronunciation does not need to be put there. This is the convention. RcAlex36 (talk) 15:07, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it’s only used in Suzhou. Should I put it back in Etymology 1? Fluoromethyl (talk) 15:09, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Fluoromethyl: You don't have to. It's not etymologically related to etymology 1 (and 2, 3 and 4). RcAlex36 (talk) 15:10, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So what do put in zh-pron if I’m taking the Shanghainese reading out? Fluoromethyl (talk) 15:11, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Fluoromethyl: Well, nothing. That's also what we do with Hainanese entries now (before Hainanese gets added one day). RcAlex36 (talk) 15:13, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@RcAlex36: I see. Thanks. Fluoromethyl (talk) 15:16, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
