Min Nan pronunciation notes[edit]

@Justinrleung What do you think of the notes I put in Min Nan? It's the best I could do, I think. It's weird that "lo̍h-lâi" is listed as a pronunciation because I don't think any Hokkien speaker would ever say "lo(ʔ)²⁴⁻² lai²⁴" like this. Since the "lai" syllable would either undergo tone sandhi, or be a neutral tone. It would never be like this in a standing tone. And there are many entries like this which should receive the same editing. So just wanted to know what you thought of this, maybe you have a better idea of how to incorporate this info. @Justinrleung: It seems like you added the similar notes in 落去. But it doesn't mention that the neutral tone disappears and it becomes a normal tone sandhi tone when it has a complement. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 09:07, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: I tried to make it a little clearer. Let me know if anything doesn't look right. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:41, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
