Mandarin readings[edit]

Can it be added in which contexts the two different Mandarin readings are used? 204.11.186.190 17:20, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

chuang1 doesn't appear in references at hand, so I have removed it. —suzukaze (tc) 16:35, 7 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Problem[edit]

If you look at the stroke order for 蔥 from the MoE, the strokes inside the 口 component are 丿丿丶 (creating:囪) (a form also seen in in the 註 of Hong Kong's《常用字字形表》 for the character 葱). But if you look at the character displayed on this page, the components inside the 口 component are 丿乛丶 (creating 囱)(conforming to the mainland 《通用规范字表》 and Hong Kong 《常用字字形表》 yitizi of 葱). Difference: the second stroke in the box is a 乛, not a 丿. I feel something should be said about this- maybe in a usage note? --Geographyinitiative (talk) 11:39, 29 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
