Alternate pronunciation[edit]

- ē is a valid Mandarin reading for this character. However, the words that use this reading tend to be a little more obscure than words with the ā reading.

There's a type of mule hide glue called "ejiao," and I think a city called "Dong-e" that both use the character. Can we, thus, add e1 as an alternate pronunciation? 24.223.167.112 23:49, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
