Teochew

@Mar vin kaiser: p. 1267 of 潮·普双言语词典, where it is written as 闹 and glossed as 声音杂乱，喧哗扰人; see also 聒 under s:Dictionary of the Swatow dialect/cak. RcAlex36 (talk) 05:10, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

@RcAlex36: Looking at Hokkien dictionaries (both Mainland and Taiwan), it seems like Hokkien doesn't have the "irritating noise" sense, while that's the definition found in Teochew, so maybe I'll just distinguish that in the definitions. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 05:21, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
