status of uftō

@Mnemosientje Hey could you help me out here. I'm wondering about where to place Gothic 𐌿𐍆𐍄𐍉 (uftō); it appears once, in John 7:26, and I’m not sure if it is a misspelling or an alternative spelling of 𐌰𐌿𐍆𐍄𐍉 (auftō). 𐌷𐌻𐌿𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌲𐌲𐍃 (talk) 13:20, 3 December 2019 (UTC)

@Holodwig21 Honestly, I'm not sure. You could call it an alternative form and note it as such on the entry of aufto, with a small qualifier behind it that it is attested only once and may be a misspelling. Ufto clearly represents the same word, as it translates the same Greek word and occurs in a similar context as aufto. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 13:29, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
