Mandarin. Supposedly the Pinyin of A型肝炎, but clearly isn't. The actual Pinyin entry is ēixíng gānyán. Theknightwho (talk) 13:02, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Keep. Forms with letters rather than spelled-out forms of letters should be allowed. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 04:42, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don’t really mind keeping this, but we should update WT:AZH. Theknightwho (talk) 17:54, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Theknightwho: What would we need to update it with? Pinyin with non-spelled-out letters is standard practice in standard dictionaries like 现代汉语规范词典 and 现代汉语词典. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 09:37, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Just something very brief that clarifies that. Theknightwho (talk) 21:11, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Theknightwho: (Sorry for the late reply.) It's not really part of the votes that allowed Pinyin entries in general, so I don't feel that it's necessarily good to add it to something like WT:AZH. I will note that we do have other similar entries, like CD-jī. Do you have a suggestion of what needs to be added? @RcAlex36, 沈澄心, Tooironic, any thoughts? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 18:55, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
