How is it, Proto-Brythonic *Brɨθon, if "early Brythonic *Pritani" (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Britannia#Latin)? *Brɨθon > Pritani > Brython? --2800:810:43F:8380:F102:D8F4:7D19:2E49 11:58, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm not too familiar with Brythonic historical linguistics, but I would note that the Britannia etymology mentions Welsh Prydyn ("Picts"), so it's entirely possible that Brython isn't from *Pritani. Chuck Entz (talk) 21:36, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
