I believe Penn's use in God No! is not intended as a bona fide religious slur. Whether it still qualifies as such is unclear to me (political?). But 10 years ago, this is just a silly word, almost a nonce word, to point out one's disagreement with some Christians. It would be like someone who said "Atheitard".
