Surely this is German. There is a citations page, but the word is mostly italicised (indicating a foreign term is being quoted) and also has all kinds of variant forms with hyphens etc. We have nothing like three uses of this word in English, thus spelled. Equinox ◑ 04:04, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- Looks like English-speaking journos showing off their grasp of German. -Versteher is a modish form that can be attached to all sorts of nouns, perhaps originally in Frauenversteher. – Jberkel 11:19, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
