- @Korn: In theory the word could be used for another queen from an English-speaking country (if there were one). But in practice: no. Do change it. I think it's justified. — I just generally tend to give less specific definitions when I'm not sure. (For, it annoys me to read that a "Kuchen" must be less than 50% cream because otherwise it's "Torte"; or that "Qualm" is necessarily thick fume swelling up from a fire because otherwise it's "Rauch"... Yes, these are common ways to distinguish the words, but it's not set in stone.) Kolmiel (talk) 22:22, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
- I can find citations of e.g. schottische Queen: Citations:Queen. I wonder if it would be sensible to rewrite the definition to something like "a queen (of an English-speaking area), especially [the current definition]", or "[...] almost exclusively [...]". - -sche (discuss) 05:30, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
