The article should be consistent with itself. If it is Slovene, then it should this word everywhere. If it is Slovenian, then move the article. And there should be either one of these words with a redirect to the other one, not both. Yann 22:41, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I suggest to use Slovenian as the main term, as it was already found more appropriate in Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Slovenian vs Slovene). We should have a consistent use of Slovenian in translations as well but some people are changing that back to Slovene. --Greg-si 02:42, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Both words are correct, but most contributors have been using Slovene. It often makes a difference in links, and that’s why we change "Slovenian" to "Slovene" here. —Stephen 13:28, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
