I've removed the rfc tag for the following reasons:

  • The rfc tag was on the talk page and not in the entry.
  • The rfc tag was from 2006 and there were several edits by non-anons after it.
  • There is no obvious vandalism. The etymology is unsoured, but that's the usual way here. If there are doubts about the etymology then a rfc tag shouldn't be correct and then the etymology should be discussed elsewhere (see Template:rfv-etymology and Wiktionary:Etymology scriptorium).

Also I'd like to note that it once was "Romanian stanca" in the entry. Wiktionary does have the word stâncă with said meaning. So stanca should be a misspelling or an old form of the word. Greetings, Ikiaika (talk) 13:39, 23 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
