Hast Du ein Stich?

The song Verdammt, Ich Lieb' Dich (Matthias Reim) includes these lyrics:

Auf einmal packt's mich, ich geh' auf ihn zu
Und mach' ihn an:"Lass' meine Frau in Ruh'"
Er fragt nur: "Hast Du 'n Stich?"

I gather this means something like "are you crazy?" — or is it short for Stich ins Herz perhaps? Are we missing a sense here? Equinox ◑ 13:23, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

@Equinox Yes, einen Stich haben is an idiom that means "to be crazy". Don't think the sense exists in the noun itself outside of this idiom, so for now I've only added the idiom as a derived term. Feel free to create it. 77.13.20.198 17:42, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
