I think that the Yunnan sense of Yunan may have the same kind of 'obsolete'+'misspelling' situation that Febuary may have. However, I don't think the obsolete sense is firmly enough established- that is, I think it was always truly wrong. I don't know if Febuary would be in the same camp, but the potential parallel was obvious to me.
