Woeste, which might be the unmentioned mentioning-source for aisig, aisk, aislik, aiwisk has:
- aisig, 1. schaurig, grauenhaft [...]; vgl. aislik
- aisk, aisch, hässlich [...]
- aisk = aiwisk, [..] schändlich, schmählich
- aislik bedeutet in der grafsch. Limburg, was aisig zu Hemer [...]"
