How did the word go from meaning two-wheeled to four-wheeled?zigzig20s 16:40, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- My best guess is that, somewhere along the line, the term took on the general sense of chariot, and the fact that it referred to something specifically with two wheels was forgotten. Atelaes 16:49, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
