buildup; bizarre translations

In 2012, user @Sae1962 added some wrong translations (diff) to the article buildup (German Propaganda meaning "propaganda" and German Reklame roughly meaning "obtrusive advertisement"). In 2019, an IP noticed this and - while removing them - added translation box (diff). Can I just remove the second box? AFAICS it has nothing to do with the English article at hand. Also, two of the Turkish translations are likely also wrong (Turkish propaganda and reklam). Fytcha (talk) 15:24, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have heard buildup used in the context of advance publicity for an event. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 15:30, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I didn't know that, though I do know the phrase "to build up hype". In this case, we should add a translation and possibly some quotations. Fytcha (talk) 15:32, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
