Webster 1913 says: "A disease in which there is a perpetual and insatiable appetite for food; a diseased and voracious appetite" — i.e. nothing about purging / vomiting. Is this a separate, older sense of the word? Equinox ◑ 19:03, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
