Hi @Scorpios90.

Hmmm, despite what I have done, it seems like -s- is normally the most common for *sj (I thought the isoglosse stopped after Messina, apparently it goes all the way to Trapani so nevermind). Given that Traina doesn't even mention vaciu and faciola for vasu and fasola, but mentions caciu (and not casu) it is likely a borrowing from Italian. Catonif (talk) 16:39, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
