- Impressive; at first I would've wondered if it was a copyright trap in the 1678 dictionary, heh. However, I think "we shall not be restrained by the patents granted to the King's printers, the Stationers, and others, but shall be at liberty to comprint with them all their books" may be sense 1, "print together" (=together with them have an equal right to print), no? The quote seems to be all about obtaining the right/privilege/permission to do the printing, rather than about printing something without permission.
