Origin of quotation?[edit]

Hello, in french[edit]

a "cynosure" is also a man with a small tail, a remnant of the embryonic tail. I wonder why our culture seems to have been somewhat fascinated by human monsters, either in fair shows or in learned people studies ( from Paré to the Saint-Hilaire father & son...).
