The Spenser quote for the adjective (The Faerie Queen Book I, Canto VII, stanza 22) appears to be an error that appears in a few 19th century editions; other editions (including the source of the Wikisource version and the 2006 Hackett) have deadly rather than dreadly. Consequently this may not be the best citation to use here, despite the fact that it's given in the 1913 Websters. (Aabull2016 (talk) 05:14, 13 July 2016 (UTC))Reply
