it's difficult to pinpoint the earliest occurrence of this because the sequence "faith based" occurs coincidentially in phrases like "faith based on revelation" and similar.

I realize this is technically an adjective and the comparatives "more faith-based", "most faith-based" can in theory be formed. The question is, can we show that these have ever been formed in any context, or, is it proper for wiktionary to report theoretical forms that have never in fact been attested?

The reality is that a computer program could in principle interpret the sentence

"most faith-based organizations are not active in community development"

in two possible meanings, but to the human reader it is clear that this is not intended as "those organizations which are most faith based, ..." but as "most of the faith-based organizations".

I propose that the comparatives should be removed unless it can be shown that they have ever been attested anywhere. --Dbachmann 12:40, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
