Etymology[edit]

I'm not a linguist, but the German word "Vorbote" has a very similar meaning. E.g. birds moving south are a Vorbote of winter. Sounds similar and it has a similar meaning, I just thought it might be connected. - 134.28.14.30 15:53, 7 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
