The concept of a "gilded cage" is sometimes used by libertarians with reference to modern society, in which it's possible to become rich but still lack the personal freedom needed to enjoy oneself as fully as one otherwise could. Leucosticte (talk) 01:03, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
