Go on a rampage. Very old entry (2007): I can find no evidence. Equinox 15:19, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm seeing a few Usenet hits for "went snake", although I'm not sure whether they actually match the sense in the entry: "[Vancouver fans] went snake when we traded Pavel Bure for Ed Jovanoski", "when the song ended and the crowd went snake", "my news server went snake this week, so I'm missing lots of posts" etc. Einstein2 (talk) 16:20, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
All three of those usage instances have some evidence of Canada for usage context. That brings into question the speculative etymology. DCDuring (talk) 16:57, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've added three newspaper quotes, removed the unsourced etymology and simplified the definition. Einstein2 (talk) 19:44, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
In which case, let's call this RFV passed. --Overlordnat1 (talk) 00:31, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
