"humph"

höpö-höpö doesn't mean "humph". "humph" is something like "no höh", depending on your dialect. höpö-höpö specifically expresses disapproval with what has just been said, like "pish-posh". "humph" is more of a general expression of annoynace; unless höpö-höpö is that in some dialect, "humph" should go. Wikiuser4815162342 (talk) 22:19, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

The answer to your original question and Wikiuser4815162342's comment is that according to the definition one might use "humph" to express doubt or disapproval just like one would use höpö-höpö. If you see the quotations for "humph", it is used in them to express disapproval with what had just been said.
