Rhyme[edit]

It should be made clear that "haughty" only rhymes with "hottie" in particular accents, like the American. In British English "hottie" and "haughty" do not rhyme at all. — This comment was unsigned.

It should be made clear to the person whom requested this that not all North American dialects are the same, and those words only rhyme in those that have the cot-caught merger, which is not universal in the United States. Tharthan (talk) 19:02, 16 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
It should be made clear to the person who wrote this comment that "whom" is an object pronoun.

Translations[edit]
