Opposite[edit]

I was wondering, could there be a common misconception that this prefix means 'opposite'? Like with usage like heterosexual you hear people calling it "opposite sex" as opposed to "different sex". Opposite is a specific subsect of different. It may be introducing a false dichotomy to differ from the 'same' in homo. Ty 18:28, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
