Meaning when filling forms[edit]

"Hometown" has mostly two meaning (place where one grew up, place where one resides now). When filling official forms, which one is expected ? Maybe it depends on the country ? Also, some popular websites' forms ask for it with no disambiguation (Facebook for instance), what is expected then ? We should probably describe those cases in the article. Thanks ! Usually what is expected is where you reside now. —Stephen 06:33, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
