innocent[edit]

rfc-sense: clean, untainted. I can't see how this is different from the first sense. The way they're worded, they seem identical. Perhaps it's a question of bad wording not redundancy. Mglovesfun (talk) 14:10, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Using polysemous words as the sole definiens is bad lexicographic practice. Many senses of both "clean" and "untainted" are not substitutable for "innocent" in any sense. I have edited a few of the senses. Please inspect. DCDuring TALK 14:46, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
